3. Products, Pricing & Currency

• Currency & Taxes: All prices displayed on our store are in South African Rand (ZAR / R) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable.

• Price Transparency: The total price—including product costs, taxes, and shipping fees (if any apply)—will be clearly displayed at checkout before you finalize your transaction.

• Pricing Accuracy: While we make every effort to ensure accurate pricing across our store, errors may occasionally occur. If a product is incorrectly priced due to a system glitch, Genworks reserves the right to cancel the order prior to shipment, notify you, and issue a full refund.

4. Orders, Payment & Contract Formation

• Transaction Review: Prior to placing an order, you will be provided with an order review screen to verify items, check the total cost, and correct any input errors.

• Contract Formation: A binding purchase contract is formed when Genworks dispatches your order and issues a shipment confirmation email containing courier tracking details.

• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and Instant EFT. Genworks does not capture or store raw credit card details on its servers.

5. Shipping & Delivery

All deliveries are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy:

• Shipping Cost: Standard courier delivery is FREE on all orders within South Africa.

• Handling Time: 0 – 1 business days (Monday to Friday).

• Transit Time: 2 – 4 business days (Monday to Friday).

• Total Estimated Delivery: 2 – 5 business days.

• Risk of Loss: Responsibility and risk of loss or damage to items pass to you upon physical delivery to the provided shipping address.

6. Returns, Refunds & Statutory Consumer Rights

Your rights regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds are governed by our dedicated Return & Refund Policy, drafted in accordance with the ECT Act and Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

• 30-Day Change-of-Mind Return Window: You may return unused, un-opened products in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. The customer pays return courier charges for change-of-mind returns.

• ECT Act 7-Day Cooling-Off Right: Pursuant to Section 44 of the ECT Act, you may cancel a purchase without reason or penalty within 7 days of receiving the goods.

• CPA 6-Month Warranty: Under Section 56 of the CPA, all items carry a 6-month statutory warranty against manufacturing defects or failures. Defective items will be collected, repaired, replaced, or refunded at zero cost to the customer.

All content on genworks.co.za—including site design, text, graphics, logos, images, software code, and product descriptions—is the property of Genworks or its licensing partners and is protected by South African copyright and intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Statutory Rights Preserved: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any non-waivable consumer rights granted to you under the South African Consumer Protection Act (Act 68 of 2008).

• Liability Cap: Subject to applicable law, Genworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
